PSA: some companies dealing in foreign country residencies ship your residency and id cards with commercial courier services.

Ask them not to do that. They get opened by the customs in target country for inspection and sometimes the customs take pictures of them. If you want your privacy, pick them up in person, or ask the company to bring them safely (in a tamper evident envelope) and ship only within the country.
